Weekend Loves: This week’s must do, see & buy

Attention to detail has a whole new meaning when you get the guided tour.

Drawing on local literary culture and heritage, buckles on the backs of the restaurant seats embrace the old home of the Royal Horse Bazaar, while the decorated ceilings are inspired by Gulliver’s Travels.

We really loved the Champagne Tasting Table - €40 a head for six to 12 people including three glasses of Henriot champagnes and canapes. Ideal for an intimate festive gathering.

How’s your diary looking for August 2017? That’s how long you’ll be waiting for a table at Heron and Grey, the tiny restaurant that could.

With its team of three, and handful of tables at Blackrock Market (just 66 people get to eat there each week), this was the surprise recipient of a sole new Michelin star this Autumn.

The result? A very long wait list... Get booking now. In the meantime, check out Leslie Williams’ review in the Wine section.

Intense party season ahead?

We’re loving the soothing, cooling Phyto Corrective Masque, €60, from cult brand Skinceuticals.

Avoid dull, blotchy, tight, dehydrated skin with this cooling gel. Packed full of cucumber, thyme and olive oil it’s great post work out or after a hot bath.

Apply a generous coat on the skin, avoiding the eye area, leave for 10-15 minutes and rinse with cool water, it can also be left on overnight as a treatment in place of your night cream.

When facialist Kathryn Revell recommends it, you know you’re on a winner.
