Tweets: Louise O'Neill's documentary on sexual consent got the nation tweeting last night
The documentary, named after O’Neill’s 2015 book which discusses sexual consent, looks at the issue in more detail talking to staff at Dublin’s Rape Crisis centre and visiting the Sexual Violence centre in Cork as well as speaking to porn researcher Kate Dawson and Senator Lynn Ruane.
The documentary certainly got the nation thinking about sexual consent and rape culture and there was a lot of praise for the young author and the way she handled the sensitive topic.
Very important doc on @RTE2 right now about rape culture, sexual violence and consent in Ireland. Urge everyone to watch. #AskingForIt
