The Carphone Warehouse ’pro-choice’ adverts have raised some debate on social media with a number of people saying the campaign makes light of the reality of abortion.

The ads, which have appeared online, on billboards and in bus shelters features a number of different posters with images including a baby, a young person and a cucumber along with various questions such as "what makes a family?", "what do you see?" and "what to do?".

The posters are all accompanied with the slogan ’We’re pro-choice".

The campaign has been described by some as "disgusting", "tasteless," "tacky," "exploitative" and "insensitive."

However, there are some who think the advertising has worked.

And a few think the campaign was a good idea.

We have contacted Carphone Warehouse for a statement, but they have yet to get back to us.
