No treats for this home intruder

Sonoma County police officers responded to a reported prowler at a residence late at night.

An 18-year-old man that was home alone called 911 when he heard creepy noises coming from his house.

Police arrived quickly and scanned the outside of the residence when they came face-to-face with the culprit.

A Great Dane unapologetically staring down on them from a skylight.

"The Deputies conducted a thorough investigation and determined the culprit had been a bad dog so he got no treats."

The dog turned out to be one of the owner’s dogs. The man was in such a state over the creepy noises that he forgot about one of his dogs that had slipped upstairs.

Mortified.
