The Humans of Dublin photographer came up with a picture-perfect way to propose to his girlfriend

Two years ago, Peter Varga started a photo project called Humans of Dublin, featuring funny, touching and beautifully captured stories and photos of the city’s characters.

The Facebook page has gone from strength to strength and now the 100 of the best of the bunch are collected into a book of the same name that has just been released.

Peter, who is originally from Hungary, credits his girlfriend Maria, who is from Brazil, as integral to the project’s success, so he knew he wanted to do something special for her when the book came out - and what’s more special than a proposal?
