Guy loses place in queue only to win $1million in the lotto

A New Zealand man was rewarded for his manners when he won the lottery just moments after losing his place in line.

The unnamed man from Tauranga bought the winning ticket for last Wednesday’s $1 million on his way home from work.

"I was waiting in line at the Lotto shop and another customer nipped in front of me," explained the winner in a written statement from Lotto New Zealand.
