Dramatic footage shows moment driver rescues tiny kitten from busy road

A Russian man is the internet’s new favourite person after stopping to rescuing a kitten trapped on a busy road.

The heartstopping CCTV footage, which has gone viral, shows the kitten appearing on the motorway near Kalingrad, either having fallen or been tossed from a passing car.

For four minutes the kitten cowers on the road as cars and lorries whiz past. Somewhat miraculously, it avoids being hit.
