James Corden helped Coldplay pay tribute to Prince with a stunning Nothing Compares 2 U cover

The career of James Corden has gone from strength to strength since he moved to America to host The Late Late Show.

The Gavin & Stacey creator has enjoyed massive success for his interviewing skills and show segments such as Carpool Karaoke.

Everyone knew Corden was funny, but people have been very impressed with his singing.

So with Coldplay in LA to play a concert at the Rose Bowl, lead singer Chris Martin invited Corden up on stage to pay tribute to the late, great Prince to duet on a cover of Nothing Compares 2 U.

The result is breathtaking.

If the hosting doesn't work out, we're pretty sure Corden could pick up a few gigs as a singer.

Chris Martin had previously sung with Corden when the Coldplay front man took part in Carpool Karaoke before the band played at the Superbowl last February.

And taking to the Rose Bowl wasn't Corden's first time joining a superstar on stage to duet.

A few years ago he joined Take That front man Gary Barlow in Manchester to duet on Pray.

He certainly has the dance moves to match the voice!
