Young American waitress receives racist note from couple she served

A waitress in an American cafe had an unpleasant experience recently when she became the subject of a hateful comment after serving a couple in the diner where she worked.

Rather than receiving a tip from her customers she found herself subjected to a xenophobic comment.

18-year-old Sadie Elledge found the comment "We only tip citizens" written where a tip is normally added on a receipt.
