All roads lead to Ennis this week as the annual Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann kicks off on Monday for a week of concerts, classes, craic, and competitions.
An estimated 400,000 people are expected to flock to Ennis, which is hosting the event after an most 40 years break.

The National Concert Hall in Dublin hosts an autumn series of Tea Dance Tunes Dementia Friendly Concerts in its Ivy Room.
The concerts are aimed at people living with dementia, their carers, and families and allows people to enjoy a concert of favourite music and songs in a relaxed atmosphere.
The concert is on Monday at 2pm and refreshments will be served. Tickets are €2.50 and are available from the NCH box office.

This Thursday, as part of its summer of outdoor movie screenings, 7UP is showing Sing Street in Merrion Square. The doors will be open at 8pm and the film should start around 9.45pm.
Sing Street tells the story of a boy growing up in Dublin during the 1980s who escapes his strained family life by starting a band to impress a mysterious girl.
A free kids gardening workshop takes place in Griffins Garden Centre in Dripsey in Cork on Saturday from 11am to 5pm.
Children will get to plant up their own pot of Spring flowering bulbs and take it home to watch them grow. There will also be face painting and prizes on the day.
Next Saturday, more than 40 buildings in Cork will open their doors free of charge for the 12th annual Cork Heritage Open Day.
From the educational to ecclesiastical, medieval to military, and civic to commercial, many of the buildings involved are not usually accessible to the general public.
Cork Heritage Open Day also includes free guided tours, talks and a heritage treasure hunt.
