CROKER TOUR: As the excitement builds around the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, families might also enjoy a visit to the ‘Ireland’s Olympians’ exhibition at the GAA Museum in Croke Park.

Supported by the Olympic Council of Ireland, it features medals and memorabilia from many of Ireland’s 26 successful Olympians, including the first medal won by Ireland post-independence by Jack B. Yeats at the 1924 Paris Games.

The GAA Museum is open daily throughout the year, including match days when there’s free admission for match patrons.

Exhibitions include the original Sam Maguire and Liam MacCarthy Cups, the official GAA Hall of Fame and the Interactive Games Zone where visitors can test their hurling and football skills.

BABY HEALTH: Bio-Kult Infantis does not need to be refrigerated and can be given to babies, toddlers and young children, alongside antibiotics, when travelling and as part of a healthy diet.

The formula comes in easy to use sachets and also contains Omega 3 and Vitamin D 3.

In a study which involved infants aged two weeks to four months who had been diagnosed with colic, parents reported a significant improvement in symptoms among the babies who were given the probiotic mixture for 30 days.

Average daily crying time was reduced by at least half for 82.6% of infants in the probiotic group after seven days. Bio-Kult Infantis costs €11.95 for 16 sachets.
