Imagine... owning Lennon’s car

It famously featured in the 1972 film Imagine and is expected to make more than £250,000.

Austin Princesses were a popular mode of transport for The Beatles.

The large rear door made quick access easy while being pursued by adoring fans.

The car is still fitted with the five aeroplane seats that Lennon added.

It was donated to the Austin Rock and Roll Car Museum in Texas in 2008.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Unicef and other charities to benefit include Make a Wish America and Dell Children’s Medical Center.
