Dog named Corky reunited with family after being missing for nearly seven years
Montez and his family were contacted by the Humane Society of North Texas to tell them that they’d found their terrier cross named Corky, who’d unbelievably been missing since late 2009.
Corky, who is now eight years old, managed to escape his outdoor kennel as a young pup and was never seen again. The family tried in vain to find the pooch for six months, even going door-to-door in their area and making flyers.
