New iPhone pre-order date may have been revealed
Serial tipster Evan Blass took to Twitter to reveal this and added that it will go on sale on September 16. Previous rumours indicated that it would be released on September 12, but it looks like it will be the week of September 12 that it will be released.
This doesn't tell us when the new iPhone will be announced. Apple could announce the new iPhone on the same day that it's available to pre-order or could unveil it a couple of days prior.
Blass has previously indicated that the upcoming iPhone won't be called the iPhone 7; Apple may be holding that name back for next year's release, which is also tipped to feature an overhauled design.
All will soon be revealed.
