Pokemon Go Plus wearable delayed
Nintendo announced the delay this morning, and is contacting people who had ordered the wearable to apologise and offer them a discount on their next purchase.
The PokĂ©mon Go Plus is a watch-sized device, which allows players to perform some in-game actions without taking out their smartphone. It will also vibrate when youâre near a PokĂ©stop and let you collect items, and will flash when a PokĂ©mon is near and allow you to press a button to throw a PokĂ©ball.
However, there are some limitations to keep in mind; itâll only let you catch types of PokĂ©mon youâve already caught â though that may not be a major issue by September â and the simplicity of the feedback system could result in ambiguity in areas populated by PokĂ©mon and stops.
The other issue facing Nintendo and Niantic is keeping the app popular until this accessory launches.
