Rainbow Six Siege's Operation Skull Rain coming in August

Rainbow Six Siege’s third season gets underway on August 2 with the release of Operation Skull Rain.

The expansion is set in a Brazilian favela and adds two new characters, Caveira and Capitão.

Capitão is armed with a crossbox that burns oxygen in enclosed areas making it more difficult to breathe, Meanwhile, Caveira holds down the defensive side and can skulk around thanks to a Silent Step ability.

Also being added to the game is a new Tactical Realism custom game mode. This removes player marking, restricts what your HUD shows you, and removes kill confirmations. So you’ll need to be a little more cautious and communicate with your teammates.

Operation Skull Rain will be released on August 2.
