New Fantastic Beasts trailer destroys New York

A brand new trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was released during Comic Con, giving us a peek at some of the creatures and what they are capable of.

They are unleashed upon New York from Magizoologist Newt Scamander's (Eddie Redmayne) suitcase and attack when frightened. As the trailer outlines, they have reason to be frightened when surrounded by millions of the most fearsome creature on the planet, humans. There's plenty of spectacle on show with shapeshifting and destruction abound.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set in the Harry Potter universe, but explores the magical side of New York City in the 1920s. It will supposedly be the first in a trilogy of films, so Harry Potter fans have plenty more to look forward to from this universe in the near future.
