Psyonix waiting on Sony to give cross-play green light

Psyonix's Rocket League could be the game to bridge the divide between PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players. Psyonix knows how to get the two communities playing together, but is waiting on Sony to give it the green light.

Psyonix's Vice President Jeremy Dunham told IGN that once approved the team could have the two consoles talking to each other in less than a day.

"It'd literally take a few hours to propagate [cross-console play] throughout the whole world," he explained, "so really, we're just waiting on the permission to do so."
