Halt and Catch Fire season 3 promo is here!
Season 2 averaged around 530,000 viewers per episode, which is peanuts compared to AMC stablemate The Walking Dead which topped out at more than 14 million for its latest season finale.
It's not really a fair comparison but the fact remains that very few people are watching, despite good to strong reviews and a general uptick in the dramatic stakes in season 2. Personally I find it a strange joy to watch despite the rather pedestrian plotting and mostly because you never quite know what Pace's Joe MacMillan is going to do next.
Well it turns out he, and the rest of the cast, are headed to Silicon Valley to take on the big boys, and a full third season will kick off in the States on AMC on the 23rd of August. Here's the first trailer.
It's going to run for 10 episodes and I'm going to be honest and say that this is likely to be the last run - which means you can catch up with the whole affair in a nice 30 hour box set in a couple of years time.
