New Batman game trailer debut- Bruce steps out of the shadows

Telltale Games have another series about to debut, and this one is all about Batman and also Bruce Wayne for a change.

With their legacy of story driven adventure titles this was always going to be a different kind of Batman game, and the focus will be on your time as both Bruce Wayne and the Dark Knight while you tussle with difficult choices with major ramifications.

That sounds pretty delicious, especially coupled with a refreshed game engine that's looking a lot prettier than before. The art is in keeping with the style of the many iterations of the character that have come before, and there's even a hint of a sense of humour which has been mostly missing from the big screen outings since Nolan got his hands on it.

The first of five episodes, entitled Realm of Shadows, will debut on the 2nd of August and eventually come to all the platforms including mobile, consoles and PC. There's also a physical disk release planned for September which will give access to the other four episodes as downloads, which is a pretty weird system if you think about it.
