Kayaker gets surprise as bear swims right by him

Matthew Garrity was kayaking on Hemlock Lack in New York State last Saturday when he noticed something swimming towards him.

"I’m looking around at the beautiful view and I saw something swimming across the lake, but I couldn’t identify what this was," Matthew told the Democrat and Chronicle.

And then he realised what it was.
