Ghostbusters will get a sequel

The new Ghostbusters film is out, which seemed to be the moment when a whole bunch of people realised that the original was some kind of sacred object and that any new version must have been sent from hell. Do they even remember Ghosbusters 2?

Anyway the film had a pretty high budget of $144 million before prints and advertising (there are a lot of special effects and a large cast) and it opened to less than 50 million in the States. That's not the worst situation and it should break even worldwide at some point, though it won't release in China.

Still Sony is confident in the future of these 'Busters, at least according to president of worldwide distribution Rory Bruer- and he should know. Speaking to The Wrap Breur said:
