Pokemon Go players explore Area 51 in search of answers

There’s plenty of mystery surrounding Area 51, but all some people care about is what Pokémon are hiding out there. Naturally, some curious players went in search of answers.

The folks at Frag Hero took a trip to Area 51 and discovered that none of the gyms in the area had been claimed. Naturally, those behind the site took it upon themselves to claim some gyms. They mention, however, that they were extremely careful and didn’t break any rules.

They add, “Area 51 definitely has a lot to offer for Pokémon Go players, but it would be stupid to venture out there without doing some extensive research prior to making a trip.”

Meanwhile, YouTube channel SuperMega also ventured out there and found themselves embroiled in a cat and mouse game with security.
