eStories launches with 80000 audiobooks
eStories launches with 80,000 titles and will use a subscription model with memberships starting at $11.95 a month. This is slightly cheaper than Audible’s monthly fee, but that service offers around 250,000 titles, according to TechCrunch.
The service has partnered with the audiobooks divisions of major publishers including Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, and Hachette, among others. eStories hopes to be able to offer major bestsellers such as Game of Thrones, The Hunger Games, and more.
