Pokemon Go rolls out to three more countries
Slowly, more people are able to officially get in on the phenomenon that’s sweeping the globe. Its release in these three countries follows swiftly in the wake of its release in the UK.
Niantic and Nintendo are keen to avoid overloading the servers, hence the slow rollout. However, the lead developer of the game has said that he wants to roll Pokémon Go out in 200 markets soon. So there’s hope for Pokémon fans everywhere that they’ll be able to download the app via the proper channels.
It’s not all that surprising that Niantic has big plans for the app; it has generated more than $1 million a day since its release, and this could be bolstered further by plans to add sponsored locations.
Now we just await an Irish release, though it is possible to download it unofficially; just make sure you don’t inadvertently download a malicious version of the app.
