The lovely moment a Tipp gran found out she was going to New York for her 80th birthday

Lorraine Butler from Tipperary knew she had to do something special for her grandmother Olive Chester’s 80th birthday.

So along with other family members, she hatched a plan.

Telling Olive they were off to London to do a bit of shopping, Lorraine, who currently lives in Russia, met her in Dublin Airport. Then, with a bit of help from the pre-warned check-in staff, she surprised Olive with their real destination - New York, New York.
