News anchor walks out onto live set while playing Pokémon game
This US news anchor can definitely testify to that account after walking out in front of the camera at work and getting caught on live TV trying to catch a Pokémon.
Journalist Allison Kropff was playing the game at work while her colleague Bobby Deskins was presenting the weather forecast for Florida when she walked out in front of the camera.
The incident was broadcast live on 10News WTSP.
The footage, which has been watched more than 150,000 times, shows a very surprised Bobby Deskin watch as Allison marches through his broadcast, staring at her phone.
The presenter took the upset to his broadcast well, laughing it off and cajolingly warning people about the dangers of getting addicted to your phone and the new Pokémon GO game.
The interrupted broadcast created a flurry of humorous attention for the journalist and Allison later tweeted the first step of her recovery from her addiction: Admitting she has a problem!
That moment you realize you may be addicted to #PokemonGO...
