Tired of seeing Pokemon Go everywhere? This should clear up your timelines

If you're sick and tired of seeing people talk about Pokémon Go on every social media site, this Chrome extension should clear that up.

Pokémon Go was only released a week ago, and isn’t even available everywhere, but it’s been popular with both media outlets and social contacts alike. Some people are starting to crack as they can’t take it clogging up their feeds, but there is a solution.

PokeGone is a Google Chrome extension that promises to "remove all traces of Pokemon from the internet" and "stop your eyes from seeing grown adults raving on about Pokemon." Jamie Farrelly, the creator of the extension, told a Twitter follower that he built it because there's "only so much Pokemon talk a person can take."

While it should clear up your news feeds, it can’t do anything about people talking incessantly about it in person or wandering around flicking Pokéballs on their smartphones. Also, you should be warned that your social feeds may be significantly quieter after enabling it.

Meanwhile, if you're still waiting to get your hands on Pokémon Go, you may not have too much longer to wait. It's out in Germany today and may hit other European countries in the very near future.
