Apple is developing a reality TV show

Apple is to enter the world of reality TV with a show titled Planet of the Apps. The show is expected to make its debut in 2017.

The Planet of the Apps website states that the aim of the show is to offer "a launch pad and accelerator for exceptional developers." It’s currently accepting applications, so you can submit your app and team for consideration.

To apply, you need to submit a breakdown of your potential app idea and a one-minute video that introduces you and your team. The closing date for applications is August 26. Then, by October 21, your app needs to be in a beta state and able to run on iOS, macOS, tvOS or watchOS.

It’s unclear what the format of Planet of the Apps will be. But if you do get on the show, you’re guaranteed to have your creations and skills seen by viewers around the world.
