Watch this squirrel pull off miracle escape from a hungry hawk

Wildlife enthusiast John Dunstan captured an incredible moment while videoing some hawks in a New Jersey park last month.

Dunstan, who runs the Wild Jersey City Facebook page, watched on as squirrel somehow escaped a life-and-death struggle with a hawk in the city’s Lincoln Park.

The clip follows the bird of prey as it frantically scrambles into a tree after the squirrel apparently got to near too its nest.
