Prison inmates "break-in" to help collapsed guard

A prison guard at Weatherford District Courts Building in Texas collapsed while watching over inmates in a holding cell. A chance for The Great Escape? Not quite.

The inmates immediately shouted for help when they noticed the guard losing consciousness. When nothing came of it, they broke out of their holding cell to call for help on the officer’s radio.

Back-up arrived and the inmates immediately retrieved to their cell with absolutely no resistance shown. CPR was delivered to the guard with the inmates looking on anxiously. They have been credited with saving the guard’s life.
