Lin-Manuel Miranda's 'Hamilton' run ends with fitting 'West Wing' tribute

In what can be only classed as an emotional goodbye, Miranda was joined on stage by original cast members Leslie Odom, Jr, Ariana DeBose, and Phillipa Soo to say farewell to the show they brought to life.

The standing ovation was played out by the orchestra to the tune of the hit show, The West Wing.

Miranda, a big fan of Aaron Sorkin, has stated on occasion that the TV show was a huge influence when it came to the creation of Hamilton.

Social media also paid a huge tribute to Miranda and the hit Broadway show.

Miranda himself gave his own personal twitter tribute, signing off his run by cutting off his long hair, which he had been wearing for his role.

Best of luck to Lin-Manuel Miranda and the departing cast of  Hamilton wherever their adventures take them next.

As for the remaining, and incoming cast; you have big shoes to fill but we're sure you will do the show proud.
