BlackBerry not killing off the keyboard just yet

While BlackBerry has announced the end of the Classic line, it’s not ready to kill off the full physical keyboard just yet.

Responding to rumours of the demise of the keyboard, Senior Vice President for BlackBerry Global Device Sales, Alex Thurber, reassured fans that the keyboard isn’t going anywhere just yet. "In response to some recent press reports, I want to be clear that BlackBerry users have nothing to fear - the keyboard is here to stay,” he said.

There are rumours that BlackBerry is making three Android handsets, one of which will supposedly feature a traditional BlackBerry keyboard. It’s also worth noting that currently available handsets like the Passport and the Priv still feature a keyboard.
