This 12-year-old's philosophical potato musings are just lovely

Noor from London had been preparing potatoes for a shepherdâs pie and she took the opportunity to contemplate life and diversity.
And, as all young people seem to do, she posted her thoughts to Snapchat.
Her older sister Maria posted the screengrabs of Noorâs spud musings on Twitter where it quickly went viral.
"People are like potatoes. The colour of skin or having marks doesnât matter," the first Snap read.
"Because theyâre all the same once the skin is removed."
Deep. And also kind of gross.
Both sisters were surprised by the online success of Noorâs potato wisdom.
"I was not expecting people to have such a reaction to me letting out my weird/deep thoughts on Snapchat," she told Mashable.
"I didnât tell my little sister that I did tweet her Snapchat story until we hit 300 retweets - it was a little crazy when I woke up the next day and we had about 6,000 retweets," said Maria. "Going viral has been interesting and so amusing, my little sister is very happy about it!"
Proof that even the most mundane of tasks can inspire moments of zen.
