Clondalkin residents filmed chasing rats through their neighbourhood

A Clondalkin neighbourhood has said it’s been taken over by everyone’s least favourite visitor - rats.

Residents of Grange View Place told the Echo that the problem has been going on for months but has worsened in recent weeks. The rats have been found in and around the building that contains their bins, in their gardens, and even hidden inside the engines of their cars.

And as this video shows, they’ve taken matters into their own hands, chasing the rodents from their hiding place with hurleys.
