But now thanks to this incredible Virtual Reality video from Lifeproof and Dog Day Media featuring the champion kiteboarder, we can get a taste of what it must be like.

The Dutchman and Irish kiteboarder Ryan Coote of Kitesurf Ireland recently travelled Kerry in search of the perfect kiteboarding conditions - and found them in Brandon Bay.
