LittleBigPlanet servers are closing - bad news for fans

LittleBigPlanet servers are closing - bad news for fans

There's word that the LBP game servers are closing in Japan, and without the servers fans can't interact with eachothers unique levels, leaving the game pretty much dead. Considering the most recently title, LittleBigPlanet 3, launched on PS3 and PS4 in November 2014, that's not much of a lifespan.

As of right now there's no news on closures for the servers in the rest of the world but once this process starts it's pretty obvious that our online time with the game is numbered. NeoGaf says that these closures will be in effect from the 31st of July, the Karting spin off is also set to be phased out at the end of August.
