VIDEO Rihanna's full Sledgehammer vid is epic and shot for IMAX!

Star Trek Beyond features a Rihanna track and the singer has gone suitably spectacular for the music video as well.

It's still a little strange that there's a Rihanna song in the upcoming Star Trek Beyond - it's not exactly a series known for tie-in singles - but it seems they're going all out to make 'Sledgehammer' into a thing. And that includes shooting a massive music video on IMAX camera.

It's a decent track and it's good to see that the Enterprise gets a little cameo in there, though there's an odd lack of footage from the actual movie. As for when we'll get to see it on an IMAX screen after all the expense of shooting it in the format... we just don't know.

Maybe IMAX versions of the film let the music video play out during the credits, adding on some extra running time? We'll have to wait and see, but this is definitely spectacular.

Star Trek Beyond is out on the 22nd of July, 2016.
