BBC presenter caught rotten with her phone on live TV

Most of us will be guilty of checking our mobile phones when we are supposed to be working.

However, when your office happens to be in front of eyes of millions you’re bound to be caught out, as the BBC’s Joanna Gosling found out on Monday.

As the broadcast begins the clip shows Joanna scrolling away, blissfully unaware that she is on live TV. To be fair to her, she makes one hell of a recovery.

Joanna later took to Twitter to explain that the incident was caused by a "technical hitch", meaning Gosling had no idea she was supposed to be on TV at that time.

We have to say Joanna has taken the whole incident like a champ and has even released a YouTube video poking fun at herself over it.

Brilliant stuff Joanna, way to turn a negative into a positive!
