Having been tricked into thinking they were auditioning for an advertising campaign, these John Cena superfans were in for a hell of a surprise.

Cena is probably the most famous active wrestler alive today and evokes a passionate response whereever he goes. He is also known for being very generous to charities and young fans alike with his time.

The wrestler has also sparked a hugely popular ’It’s John Cena’ meme on social media, which randomly bursts into Cena’s theme music.

Capitalising on this, Cricket Wireless - a mobile network in the US - decided to film the reactions of unsuspecting Cena fans as their hero smashes through the wall behind them.
