All of Gilmore Girls hits Netflix July 1st - Lauren Graham has more!

Those Gilmore Girls are back, with four new 90 minute episodes of the hit show set to debut on Netflix in November, 2016. But before all that it's time to get caught up - which makes this annoucement very timely indeed.

Of course it's no surprise that Netflix would strike a deal to show all of the episodes - they've obviously squired the rights to make more content in this world and it's natural to ensure that fans and newcomers alike have access to the back catalogue.

The show originally ran from 2000 to 2007 and pretty much received rave reviews before being cancelled for no good reason. Since then, rumours of some kind of revival have continued to surface, with the original intention being to produce some kind of feature film. That went away entirely until it emerged that Netflix would be making four 90 minute episodes, each covering a season in Hollow Falls.

It seems that everyone you can think of is returning, starting with Laren Graham and Alexis Bledel as the mother and daughter of the title. And, after many rumours and much negotiating, Melissa McCarthy has found room in her schedule to make an appearance as Sookie. Even Bledel's dog is coming back!
