The Rock's YouTube channel has an epic trailer

The Rock is launching a YouTube channel, and when your name has a definite article and a really hard thing in it you have to go really, really big.

Behold, the trailer for the greatest thing to ever happen to the entertainment industry.

Senor Rock, also known as Dwayne Johnson, is already all over your Twitters and Instagrams and now he's heading to YouTube. You might by right in thinking that he's a little late to this particular party but if anyone can make a channel work in double quick time, it's this man.

It sounds like the channel is going to be more than just Rock chatting in front of his webcam (more's the pity), instead showcasing work from people he admires and also upcoming material from his own production company. We're going to go ahead and assume that it will also be a pretty personal space, Johnson has a great first hand relationship with his fans that he's going to want to perpetuate.

We can't wait to see what he's been cooking up, including an action series which is bound to be just as epic. The channel launches properly on the 18th of July, 2016. How long til this thing gets monetized?!
