Adele's 25 added to Spotify library

Seven months after its release, Adele's latest album, 25, has been added to Spotify's catalogue. The album is also now available from Apple Music, Google Play Music, Amazon Prime and Tidal.

Adele has been slow to embrace streaming. Last year, she told TIME magazine, "I know that streaming music is the future, but it's not the only way to consume music. I can't pledge allegiance to something that I don't know how I feel about yet."

Singles from the album, including Hello and When We Were Young, were already available from Spotify, but now you can check out the entire album.

Spotify and other streaming services are finding that they have to work to attract the big names now who are more willing to try other approaches. Beyoncé and Kanye West made their latest albums available exclusively from Tidal for a while, and Taylor Swift and Radiohead have criticised streaming services publicly in the past.
