New Fantastic Beasts book incoming and live stream is a dud

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is making its big screen debut this November but it has had a previous life as a tie-in book which was first published in 2001.

The tome was attributed to Newt Scamander (the character Eddie Redmayne is playing in the film) and featured a run down of some of the magical creatures found in the world of Harry Potter. It also popped up a few times in the highly popular book series about the Boy Who Lived.

Yesterday, a surprise was teased on social media and - as we predicted - it was all about a new version of the book, which hasn't been in print recently. It will feature a new foreword by J.K. Rowling herself as well as a new cover and extra doodles and notes throughout.
