New Fantastic Beasts book incoming and live stream is a dud
The tome was attributed to Newt Scamander (the character Eddie Redmayne is playing in the film) and featured a run down of some of the magical creatures found in the world of Harry Potter. It also popped up a few times in the highly popular book series about the Boy Who Lived.
Yesterday, a surprise was teased on social media and - as we predicted - it was all about a new version of the book, which hasn't been in print recently. It will feature a new foreword by J.K. Rowling herself as well as a new cover and extra doodles and notes throughout.
Otherwise it's going to be the same rather slim book and it's hard not to see this as a way to get even more money out of Potter fans. The book releases in March 2017.
In the meantime, Warner Bros held a live Q&A last night with 'creators' - some assumed that this meant people behind the making of the film, but it was actually a bunch of popular YouTubers from around the world who didn't really have much to say.
So that was just a few young people who seemed a bit awkward trying not to get sued by Warner Bros. Anyway the film is going to be massive but you're probably not getting many spoilers between now and November.
