'Cool' Mortal Kombat X news coming at EVO

NetherRealm Studios has teased that some "cool" Mortal Kombat news is coming. And from the letters capitalised in Studio co-founder Ed Boon's tweet, it looks like the announcement is coming at EVO.

Neither Boom nor NetherRealm have given away any more about the announcement. So we'll have to wait until EVO, which runs from July 15-17, to find out more.

Mortal Kombat fans have even more reason to look forward to EVO after Warner Bros. and NetherRealm kicked in another $50,000 to the Mortal Kombat XL prize pot at EVO.
