David Brent Life on the Road trailer - Out of Office

If you've ever wondered what happened to David Brent after The Office now you have your answer.

He went on the road to pursue his music career. Obviously.

It's pretty interesting to see the set up of the film which treats the original series as an actual documentary, and to see Brent try to remind people about it as though he was famous. The same style of comedy is definitely in evidence, and this is going to be tough to watch if you don't enjoy uncomfortable situations.

Thankfully we do and there's a lot to look forward to here, including Gervais singing some awful sounding songs. If you're into that a full album is also being released, as well as a songbook so you can play along. We're hearing the comedy fella is even going to be playig some live gigs.

Life on the Road is in cinemas from the 19th of August, 2016.
