Ballincollig & District Vintage and Classic Car Club are organising a charity vintage run tomorrow in support of the Share A Dream Foundation. Sign on from 10am for all pre-1996 vehicles at Applegreen Ballincollig, departing at 11am sharp and heading for Kinsale. On return, the cars will enter and attend the Cork Summer Show. The show is on today and tomorrow from 9am to 6pm in the Curraheen Showgrounds.
As part of the Midsummer Festival Programme, there is a whole afternoon of free arts entertainment and activities throughout Cork’s Fitzgerald Park tomorrow. Street and circus artists will be making an appearance amongst the crowd, the main stage will be alive with high-energy acrobatics, circus, dance and music, with drop-in workshops taking place throughout the day. Bring a picnic or try some food on site from local food markets. From 12-5pm.
As part of its National Theatre Live Screening run, One Man, Two Guvnors takes to the screen of the Cork Opera House on Tuesday from 7pm. Featuring a Tony Award-winning performance from host of the The Late Late Show, James Corden, the comedy was a runaway hit both in London’s West End and on Broadway. Tickets €10
