Dead Rising 4 gets a holiday-themed trailer

Dead Rising 4 will be released on Xbox One and PC this holiday season and it has a fitting holiday-themed trailer.

In the trailer, Frank West toys around on his phone, sends a goofy tweet, and then goes on a zombie killing rampage. As you'd expect, there's a variety of weird and wacky weapons to help players mow down zombies.

Dead Rising 4 is set 16 years after the original with Frank West returning, but this time he will come up against new zombie enemies like "the Fresh," a term for newly infected zombies that "will turn in front of his eyes and exhibit superior speed and ferocity," and "the Evo," who have "superior strength and mobility that mimic the behavior of predatory hunting animals."

Players will be able to team up with three friends and, as usual, combine weapons and vehicles. You'll also be able to use EXO suits, which Frank can equip for super strength and firepower.

Dead Rising 4 has a "Holiday 2016" release date.
