EA shows off the Star Wars games to come

EA is taking full advantage of the fact that it holds the rights to make Star Wars games. At EA Play, it teased some of its upcoming projects as well as the new content coming to Star Wars Battlefront, Galaxy of Heroes, and The Old Republic.

EA shows off the Star Wars games to come

DICE and Motive have teamed up for a new version of Star Wars: Battlefront, which will be released in 2017. It’s too early to know what we’ll see in it, but one would assume that we’ll see content from the newest trilogy. DICE is also hard at work on new content for the current Battlefront.

Visceral Games is working on an action-adventure game with an "original narrative set in the Star Wars universe with all-new characters." We get a glimpse at early gameplay footage in EA’s look ahead at its Star Wars titles, though it’s not out until 2018.

And then there’s Respawn Entertainment’s title which will have "a different style of gameplay that takes place in a different timeline we have yet to explore with our EA Star Wars titles."
