Play the new Doom for free this week!
Doom has been out for a month and has been earning incredible reviews mostly for how awesome its single player portion is. And as id Software continues to work on multiplayer it's a sure bet that people will be diving into the game for many months to come.
If you managed to miss out on the action so far there's some most excellent news as a major demo has been released for free on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. You'll get to play through the whole first level of the game, complete with plenty of glory kills and ultraviolence, as well as a few iconic weapons.
It sounds like the demo is only available for a week from the 13th of June so be sure to give it a try, and then consider picking up the full game too. If you do, there's plenty of content to look forward to as some free multiplayer packs are dropping soon and the first paid for DLC pack arrives in July 2016.
More tools for the level creator SnapMap are also in the works, so there's lots to look forward to.
